P4C is an independent, non-profit international network of current and former Members of Parliaments, from every political background, advancing climate legislation, oversight and parliamentary diplomacy.
P4C brings together current and former parliamentarians to promote environmental sustainability and build climate resilience worldwide. Through cross-border cooperation and dialogue, the network shares best practices, shapes policy, and supports legislative and diplomatic efforts on climate change.
The idea emerged in 2023, initiated by Dr. Ibtissame Azzaoui, former Member of Parliament, to give parliamentarians a platform for climate dialogue, where they can exchange experiences, build bridges across borders and act together for a more resilient future. The first chapter, the MENA Chapter, was officially launched in Rabat in February 2024.
A world where leaders, transcending political affiliation and national boundaries, collaborate to advance climate justice: equity, safety and sustainability for a balanced, resilient future.
Mobilize parliamentarians and stakeholders to take proactive roles in climate action and promote evidence-based, data-driven policies.
Build strong networks among parliamentarians, experts, researchers, communities, governments and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Equip parliamentarians with the knowledge, resources and practical tools needed to develop forward-looking, resilient and effective climate policies.
P4C cooperates with parliamentary networks, international and regional institutions and organisations, and key stakeholders to exchange knowledge and advance effective climate policy and legislative action.
P4C welcomes new partnerships with institutions, international organizations, experts and civil society. Get in touch.
